Well, this is supposed to be a mountain lion footprint up at the Trout Farm. It is smaller than my hand. There were several footprints all around in the drying mud. Years ago, while I was riding my mountain bike in Nisene Marks, I came around a corner and watched a lioness running away with 2 youngsters. Needless to say, I turned around and went back down the fire road to Sand Point Overlook. Which was good, because I ran into a old acquaintance from grade school and the owner of Seabright Brewery. They both have become good friends and riding buddies. I never have seen another mountain lion, but about once a year, in Nisene Marks, I will see a bobcat.
